Nina Malone
Acquiring her first position as Church Pianist and Organist at the age of 11 years old, Nina has more than forty years of experience in sacred choral music; directing and organizing multiple choirs and volunteers for concerts, ceremonies, fundraising events and festivals. In addition to her studies as a piano major at CSU Sacramento, she taught privately for several years; owned and managed a private music studio with students ranging from 5-85 years of age.
In addition to her responsibilities with River City Theatre, Nina is Choir Director for St. Clare Church in Roseville and Accompanist for the Sun City Singers in Roseville. As a cast member for “The Music Man” and pianist for “Once Upon a Mattress” in high school, Nina has always loved the theater. Nina was nominated for an Elly Award for her work as Musical Director for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” with Runaway Stage Productions. She joined the artistic staff in January 2014 for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Cats” and is so happy to be part of the RCTC family.
